With globalization impacting our lives in no uncertain terms, it is imperative to educate learners to be global citizens. Global Citizenship Education includes various aspects such as education for respect for cultural diversity, civic education, human rights education, peace education, education for sustainable development, local and global justice, and education for gender equity.
