dc.description.abstract Today all over the world people face a lot of environmental problems like water pollution, air pollution continuing depletion of natural recourses’ , deforestation, rise in global temperatures, shrinking of life saving ozone layer etc. these problems are further being compounded with population explosion, food crisis hunger, malnutrition poverty and insanitation etc. Unsafe water kills three million people each year, many of whom are children. Two billion people cope daily with the problem of finding enough water. As many as3.5 billion almost half the worlds projected population could face water shortage by 2025.every year 4.5 million hectors of forest in tropical countries are cut down and converted into other uses. Greenhouse gases notably carbon dioxide which is caused by burning of fossils, fuels and deforestation, act as agent of climate change that causes increase in global warming and rising sea levels. There is urgent need to look into the problem of the global environment for the future of every one. en_US
