Abstract:
When an individual loses both parents, he or she becomes an orphan. If the individual
concerned is still a child when this happens, he or she is often faced with significant
challenges as the people who provided for them and cared for them are deceased.
Throughout the world orphaned children suffer the consequences of the so-called
cycles of poverty, namely, dependency, welfare problems, learning difficulties.
delinquency problems and maturation and vocational and career problems.
