REPORT THEATRE WORKSHOP AND PERFORMANCE FOR PRE SERVICE TEACHER TRAINEES OF RIE, BHOPAL

Abstract

Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhopal conducts a 10 days theatre pedagogy workshop for integrated B.Ed. M.Ed. Ist Semester Integrated Course. Into which they invite a group of professional trainers to teach the fundamentals of theatrical art of different types such as acting, background music, stage management, direction, lights, makeup, dressing, dialogue writing, dance choreography and many more things. Besides of which students of respective class have to prepare a drama/skit within the duration of these 10 days and to perform it. To represent and improve the skills they have learnt in these past 10 days. This workshop also has an educational value and also important for academic purpose.
