dc.description.abstract Various environmental problems pose a threat to environmental sustainability, among which is global warming, urban air pollution, water shortages, noise pollution, and loss ofbiodiversity. Many of these problems are rooted in human behavior and can thus be managed by changing the relevant behaviour so as to reduce the environmental impacts. Environmental education is a viable tool for creating environmental awareness in students and motivating them to act for the environmentthat is why the awareness about the environment is highly necessary among the students since beginning. A main goal of environmental education is development of pro- environmental behavior (PEB).Proenvironmental behavior (PEB) are actions that people do in daily life that are comparatively better for the environment, for example, recycling and reducing energy consumption, etc. en_US
