Introduction Language is an important medium of our communication. With the help of language a person not only expresses his thoughts but also communicates them to others. Language is not only a means of communication with humans but it is also a conflict-free demarcation between humans and animals. Language itself develops the best in man in his cognitive, emotional and functional fields, his self-realization, a rapport with his creator. It is also a medium to become absorbed. In our country of unity in diversity, many languages are spoken and written. Hindi is the national language of our country. Hindi has been a medium of exchange of ideas in our country since ages. It is not only the language of North India, but it is the language that binds the entire country together. Today Hindi, in some form or the other, is prevalent throughout the country. Hindi is a living and powerful language. It has adopted many native and foreign words. Its digestive power is not weak. It has absorbed the sounds, words, idioms and proverbs of other languages. In this way Hindi has enriched its vocabulary and its expression. Hindi is a living language, its propagation is increasing. Hindi is a simple language, due to which it is being used in every part of the country. India is a country in which multi-religious, multilingual people reside. The work of bringing unity in these diversities is possible only through Hindi language. |
