Abstract:
Today, as we have entered the twenty-first century, we are facing the threat of extinction of the human race due to the dangers posed by uncontrolled industrialization in the race for development.
Our social environment is also changing as a result of various human activities. Consumerism and wasteful use of natural resources are putting even more burden on the current fragile state of the environment. There is a need to give fresh emphasis to the question of protection and organization from this degradation of the environment. In this context, it is necessary that along with development, arrangements should be made to strongly include activities related to environmental awareness in various social, cultural and educational programs. Environment is the overall combination of all those natural social factors like various events, reactions and counter-events, which directly or indirectly impact the life of a person. The most important role in creating awareness about the environment is played by family and education. From childhood itself, the child starts getting influenced by his immediate environment. Along with language knowledge and small activities, the child's ability to observe and make meaningful use of various senses is developed.
