Abstract:
The development of any country depends on the education of that country, hence today all the countries of the world are paying special attention to education. There was a provision in Article 45 of the Indian Constitution (1950) that in the next 10 years, arrangements for free and compulsory education should be made for all children in the age group of 6 to 14, but even after 58 years of tireless efforts, we have not been able to achieve this goal. Couldn't get it. After government and non-government efforts, only 63 percent literacy rate has been achieved. Still 37 percent children could not join the stream of education. Indian education today is living in a strange state of mind. Proud of the achievements and ashamed of the findings. Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru announced in his public message on the same day India became independent. "The future is calling us. Where will we go and what will be our efforts? To bring freedom and opportunity to the common man, to the farmers and laborers of India, to fight and eliminate poverty and ignorance, disease, a prosperous democratic and progressive nation. To build and develop social, economic and political institutions, which can provide justice and completeness of life to every man and woman.
