Abstract:
The National Plan of Physical Education, prepared for the first time by the Government of India in 1956, states that "The objective of physical education should be to make the child physically, mentally and emotionally competent and to develop his personal and social qualities which will enable him to interact with others. Will help him live happily and make him a good citizen."
It further emphasizes that the result of physical education should be development of complete personality and motivation to perform duties, achieving the goal of good citizenship.
This is a wide topic on which enough material has already been collected. This includes development of good eating, sleeping, health habits and use of exercise to control various body functions.
