dc.description.abstract Education plays an important role in the process of development of any society. This part is necessary for the overall development of a person. This concept of 3H, which was put forward in the Varya Dikshana Yojana in 1937, was truly kept in view of the all-round development of the individual. Education is the development and expression of one's physical, mental and spiritual progress. In the modern world, science and technology have developed and various changes have taken place in education, such as the use of computers in education, use of modern technology like the Internet, etc. Apart from this, the main consideration of Tantric education was also given from the point of view of physical development of the students. Self-reliant education was one of the many objectives of education suggested by Mahatma Gandhi in the Varsha Shikshan Yojana in 1937. According to Mahatma Gandhi, the form of education is extremely broad and vast, education develops all types of abilities in the child. Gandhiji has clearly expressed that "True education is that which reveals and stimulates the spiritual, intellectual and physical abilities of children from the inside out." Gandhiji considers education to mean complete development of body, intellect, emotions and soul. He believed that we should develop such an education system in which children can complete their studies and become self-reliant. The greatest influence of this idea presented by Mahatma Gandhi is visible on the thoughts of Padmabhushan Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. After attaining independence, the task was to realize the concept of 'self-reliant education'. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil did it. For the first time in 1947, Karmaveer Aurao established a self-supporting Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Satara for experimental purposes in his educational institution for the poor and downtrodden students who could not get education only due to lack of money. Started education scheme. The other name of this scheme was 'Earn and Learn' en_US
