Abstract:
Indian tradition has been that any auspicious work starts with prayer. Therefore, prayer, both for personal and social welfare, has been prevalent in our society since the Vedic period.
The word prayer is made up of Pra + Arth + Lutu suffix. Which means to request, request or request. Some request is made at the feet of a learned Mahatma, Guru, elder, honourable, revered or God - whatever may be the language, whether through singing, through poetry or through prose, all methods are considered included in prayer. In this volatile world, every living being, especially the human being, is suffering from troubles, troubles and sorrows and seeks help from a formless and reliable power. May the mind find peace and the storm of thoughts arising in the mind ends and one just wants to get lost in the sweet play of God every day. Selfless feeling, non-weak feeling, concentration of mind and identification with oneself in a peaceful environment is prayer. Through prayer, man forgets his sorrows for some time and prays to God.
