Abstract:
Today every nation is joining the race of development in the field of science and technology and it is also true that education has been a powerful medium in the development of the country since the beginning. For a long time, no attention was paid to creativity in education in our country, but Kothari Commission has expressed expectations in terms of scientific temper, creativity and values.
The material capabilities of any country are of no use unless the creative abilities of human beings are enhanced. There are many types of extensive sources in any country but it depends on the human being and his creativity that what kind of miracles we can create from those sources, it does not depend on any material sources but on the creative ability of the human being. How should they develop their culture and civilization?
Development of creativity in a student is possible only when he has some linguistic ability. Although we can show creativity in many ways, language is the basic medium through which creativity can be shown. Creativity can be in the form of a product, an object or an idea, yet creativity is a process that starts with thoughts and it is essential for thoughts to have language.
Linguistic ability and creativity are both interrelated. They have the same roots because both are innate abilities of the individual. Language is the product of innate thought and creativity is related to language, hence language ability and creativity are related to each other.
