Abstract: A key goal of education is to ensure that every student has a chance to excel, especially in school and in life. Increasingly, student’s success in school determines their success as adults, determining whether and what professions they enter and how much they can earn. According to Ahmad (2015), the goal of counselling and guidance in a school setting is to: - assist students in realizing their area of advantages and disadvantages, assist pupils in developing self-direction and independence, help students reach their goals as much as they can, support students drive and fortitude in the face of obstacles in daily life, and help students make informed career or occupational decisions. In the contemporary educational landscape, academic success is influenced not only by intellectual capabilities but also by emotional, social, and psychological factors. In secondary stage students, typically aged between 14 and 17 years, encounter numerous challenges such as academic pressure, peer influence, identity formation, and career related uncertainties.These challenges can significantly impact their academic performance and overall well-being.
