Abstract: Perspectives of education for sustainability development have been embraced internationally. It is emerging unified concept of globe with different dimensions. Education for sustainable development allows every human being to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and necessary values to shape a sustainable future life of their , own culture , community and country. Basic education which promotes functional literacy, livelihood skills, understanding of the immediate environment and values of responsible citizenship is a precondition for sustainable development. Such education must be available to every child as a fundamental right, without discrimination on the basis of socio economic class, geographical location or cultural identity. As literature emphasizes the importance of public awareness systems in all sectors of society to play an eminent role in 21st century for sustainable development of education which is predominantly in rise.
