Sane Guruji Swachch school scheme : Initiative to get Students Participation for Sustainable Development

Abstract

This research is for to study school student involvement in programme for sustainable development and to study how useful this programme with local participation for making student ( next citizen ) constructive approach toward sustainable development with practical experience To get achievement for sustainable development moving to actual implementation with real accountibility is needed (United Nation Head Quarter, 2012. p no. 20-21) For to get practical ground solution Research studied Sant Gadge Baba Gram Swachchta Abhiyan and Sane Guruji Swachch Shala Scheme of Maharashtra Government. Prediction /Hypothesis of research was scheme programme benificial to meet with sustainable development and students to get aware with this development , specially student who belong to rural area for that Researcher studied participation of ‘Velahari School and Village’ in this scheme which got many prizes for environment friendly development Researcher collected data from School, Gram panchayat prosiding, Interview of people, observing Broucher of School, Gram Panchayat. Also Researcher interviewed with 40 school Teachers which participate in this program for year 2015-16. In the conclusion got result that such scheme abhiyan benificial for to give chance to students to work practically for Sustainable Development. Student in the village got many chance to work on ground for development and to encourage people to involve in programme for Sustainable Development and sustain it . Make Education for sustainable Development This study helps to Government , NGO school for to plan practical programme to making approach toward Sustainable Development.
