dc.description.abstract | Education is the process by which, through human practice, the changeable powers are perfected through good habits and artistically derived means and which any person can use for himself or for the help of others, keeping in mind the specified objectives. Used while keeping in. According to Pestalaji (1782), "Education is the natural harmonious and progressive development of man's internal powers." (Teachers in Emerging Indian Society-NRS Saxena (p. 61)) The field of education is very vast but primary education has the most importance in a person's life. Primary education is the basic foundation of progress of any nation. This is the first step, only by successfully crossing which a nation can reach its desired goal. Secondary or higher education is not as closely related to national life as primary education is. Primary education has more important place than any other social, political or educational activity in building national ideology and character. Primary education is not related to any particular person or class but to the entire population of the country. It has contact with the life of every person at every step. In this way we can say that education of all people or education of common people is the foundation of national progress. | en_US |
