Abstract: | Education is a necessity of life. It makes life interesting and lively and provides energy to physical, mental and spiritual development. According to Radhakrishnan, "The place of teacher in the society is very important. It is the center of transmitting intellectual traditions and technical skills from one generation to the next and helps in keeping the development of civilization alive." Therefore, the interest of any nation depends on the interest of the teachers of that nation. A teacher educates thousands of students in his lifetime, hence the teacher is the guardian of our future and hence paying any attention towards the teacher is paying attention towards our future. Professional preparation of teachers is very important in any system of education. In this context, both the expressions teacher education program and teacher training are used interchangeably, whereas the meaning of the expression 'teacher education' is broader and its implication is that teachers should not only be prepared for professional skills in teaching. Baliya is to ensure development of his overall personality, for which attention has to be paid to his mental and emotional development, attitude formation and proper orientation has to be done from time to time. The comments given by the international team in its report regarding teachers are also included in this are of importance. We believe that unless teaching develops its own status, which is reflected in both the individual and the type of work, it cannot strengthen its economic and social position nor receive the support it needs. Is. We have to face the fact that teachers and academicians are primarily responsible for the professional standard of teaching. |
