Language is our most important medium of communication and the deepest source of emotion. Language is the main means of expression for a person. Language itself is the medium for human beings to be united with their creator in the cognitive, emotional and functional fields. Among the languages of the Asian continent, Hindi is the only language which is spoken and written outside its country. Today Hindi has no less importance in our country. Hindi has been a medium of exchange of ideas in our country for ages. It is not only the language of North India but it is the language that binds the entire country together. India is a country in which multi-religious, multilingual people reside. The work of bringing unity in these diversities is possible only through Hindi language. Hindi is a symbol of the cultural unity of India. In the words of national poet Dinkar: "Hindi is a unifying language, not a breaking one. There are many regional languages in the Hindi speaking provinces, Hindi has tied all the Hindi speaking provinces together. Not only this, an invisible string of Hindi connects the entire North India from Gujarat to Assam in one thread. Are tied." The importance of Hindi as a form of communication is that when two or more linguistic people come together, they communicate through Hindi language and we see this more in the field of industry, trade and business. Hindi is also important as a second language for gaining higher knowledge. Knowledge of Hindi literary history and structure of Hindi language.en_US
