Abstract: | Earth, water, fire, air and sky are the basic elements without which human existence is not possible. Every animal and human is a part of the environment. Apart from this, forests, vegetation and trees are also very helpful for human existence. The environment is created only by the mutual contribution of all these. Environment includes the entire physical and biological systems in which living beings live, grow, flourish and develop. The relationship between environment and humans dates back to ancient times. Humans have always polluted this environment. The atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere are all getting polluted. Increasing population and industrialization are both very important elements in polluting the hydrosphere and lithosphere. Industrialization is necessary to meet the demand of population growth. Establishment and operation of new industries pollutes water by releasing residual chemical substances and waste into rivers. Transport means alone contribute 46% in polluting the atmosphere. Due to the abundant use of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, there has been a hole in the ozone layer due to which the ultraviolet radiations of the Sun are falling directly on the Earth, due to which the temperature of the atmosphere is increasing, which is a serious crisis for mankind. |
