dc.description.abstractThe field of evaluation is very wide. The opinion or philosophy behind giving an integral place to the concept of continuous and comprehensive evaluation in the teaching-learning systems has been more dominant that by conceiving it as a device and tool, the teaching-learning operations can be made alive and meaningful. Quality should be made complete and effective. It has also assumed the place of a very important device in the emerging global perspective. It marks the value of the student in relation to his overall personality. It has been introduced to overcome many shortcomings of measurement. 1.2 Concept of continuous and comprehensive evaluation Continuing education and comprehensive education evaluation is a kind of practice. It works to evaluate educational and non-academic areas. Continuous and Comprehensive Assessment Scheme covers all aspects of student development by conducting a school based assessment of students. Unit testing is a continuous assessment aimed at continuous and comprehensive education which enables teachers and students to re-test and evaluate their self-concept by implementing corrective measures in the education system of students. Serves for the comprehensive development of students through both academic and non-academic areas for completion on second attempt. Continuous education evaluation is a response to evaluate the continuous and regular development of the school and students.en_US
