Abstract: This paper examine the significance of human capital and it’s important for sustainable development as education is considered as human capital and engine of growth too not only for human development but also social sector development, conservation of natural resources and sustainable economic development. Education is a human capital and it is associated with investment in man and his development as a creative productive resources. While people getting proper moral value education in the teaching learning process at different level of education through which one can change the behavior of the individual in the society and it sustained the development of society without any discrimination in term of caste, color, gender, religion, culture and region etc in the country. Similarly, the environmental sustainability can be achieved through the awareness about the natural resource management and the problems of environmental degradation and climate change. So far as the economic sustainability is concerned, the primary and secondary education is necessary but not sufficient, however, the improvement in efficiency and productivity of higher education, professional education, technical education, vocational education and medical education etc are major issues concern and needed for sustainable economic development. Therefore, the provision of qualitative education through appropriate methodology in term of pedagogical tools and technique as well as integrated approach of teaching-learning in place of dichotomously focus on constructionist and behaviorism would make the classroom effective, which in turn may leads to the productive education and it can brings out change and develop the well-being of the people in the society, reduction of environmental degradation and improvement of human capital for human resource development are the importance pillars of sustainable development.
