Abstract: This research paper is a study of the efficacy of the flipped learning approach in teaching ‘Wh’ questions to first-year undergraduate ESL learners. Technological development has significantly changed the educational scenario to make it available to everyone, regardless of culture, region, gender, and economic status. This paves the way to create a flexible learning environment where the traditional way of learning is inverted. This flexible environment is created using flipped learning which is a pedagogical approach and a form of blended learning. The quasi-experiment research design was used to collect and analyse the data. The results of this study suggested that flipped learning could be implemented at the undergraduate level to teach English grammar effectively.
