The publication of Issue 1 from Volume 100 of the Journal invites discussion of the path by which this landmark has been achieved. Over many years, the Journal has served as a key source for curated works about the teaching and learning of chemistry&#x2500;and these activities continue apace as the 100th volume is reached. At the same time, major changes in academic journal publishing have improved the processes used in producing the Journal. The past 25 years, in particular, have seen robust advances for publishing technology, and this recent history is recounted here.
