Summary: Abstract- The purpose of this article is to share ideas and materials related to the En-ROADS (Energy Rapid Overview and Decision Support) future climate simulator.1 Teachers in many disciplines have come to recognize their responsibility to educate our society in understanding why the climate crisis exists and how it can be solved. En-ROADS is a free online tool developed by MIT. It is the product of seven years of work and is based on a climate and world economy model consisting of 14,000 equations that has been subjected to a peer review process. In the program, the user can set various global policies and observe economic and climatic consequences of the world’s choices. The simulation is free, immediately accessible to the beginner, and yet still educates those who are well informed.
